Volunteer to help us host Canada’s national health library conference in Vancouver this year! Welcome your peers from across the country, reunite with far-flung colleagues, and exchange ideas with new friends.
Whatever your interests, we have glamourous library-conference volunteering opportunities at Canadian Health Libraries Association/Association des bibliothèques de la santé du Canada 2015. Help us set up posters, facilitate sessions, or direct arriving delegates. Love early mornings? Guide a seawall walk or Robson Street saunter! More of an evening person? Help us set up for a reception, then mingle, chat, and troubleshoot. Just like to hang out? Take responsibility for a conference session room, and assist with whatever comes up.
To thank you for your help, we invite you to attend a half-day of conference sessions for free, on the same day as your volunteer shift(s). This excludes ticketed events like continuing education and the banquet. The conference planning committee will do our best to accommodate preferences, but cannot guarantee that all requested shifts will be assigned.
