Andrew Moore (he/him/his)

Andrew Moore is a medical librarian with Fraser Health, at Chilliwack General Hospital. He holds a BA in History, primarily Medieval, from the University of Saskatchewan and an MLIS from Dalhousie University. In his free time, he enjoys camping, gardening, and (badly) attempting to solve Agatha Christie mysteries. He can always be contacted at hlabcexec@gmail.com.

Saeyong Kim is a Korean Studies/Medical Librarian at the University of British Columbia.

Eleri Staiger-Williams (she/her/hers)

Eleri Staiger-Williams has been involved with HLABC since she was a MLIS student and enjoys working with the great group of people who make up the HLABC board! She is a librarian for the Health and Human Services Library at the BC Ministry of Health. In her spare time, she likes to be outside or hanging out with her animals. 

Secretary
Chantal Lyons-Stevenson (she/her/hers)

Chantal Lyons-Stevenson is a Librarian at Harper Grey LLP, a Vancouver-based law firm. She provides current awareness and reference services to the firm’s lawyers and students, with a focus on supporting the Health Law practice group. Chantal holds a BA (English Literature, 19th Century Studies) and MLIS from the University of British Columbia. She enjoys ballet classes and crochet in her spare time. 

Treasurer / Membership
Marina Botnaru 

Marina has 8 years of experience as Chief Financial Officer for the projects financed by the World Bank, which is why she approaches the treasury tasks with pleasure and passion. With a Dual Master degree in Archival Studies and Library Information Studies from UBC iSchool (2021), she is hoping to help the health libraries field not only as a treasurer but as a health librarian in the near future. Continuing Education & Programming Director
Monique Grenier (she/her/hers)

Monique Grenier works for the University of Victoria as the interim Data Curation Librarian with subject responsibilities in Mathematics/Statistics and Chemistry. As an early career librarian, Monique is especially interested in diversifying her portfolio and welcomes new educational and professional opportunities. When Monique is not at the University, she can be found with her nose in a book, her imagination in the kitchen, or her heart in the garden. Communications Director
Sarah Gleeson (she/her/hers)

Sarah Gleeson is a medical librarian at Fraser Health at the Surrey Memorial Hospital.  She holds a BA in French Literature and Linguistics from Simon Fraser University and a MLIS from Western University.  When not working, Sarah enjoys gardening with her kids, rowing on the Fraser River, and knitting.

Peyton Biswas is a Library & Information Technology student attending Langara College. She is passionate about cataloging and learning more about special libraries. When not studying, Peyton enjoys reading, cooking, and spending time outdoors.
